The Medical Imaging Program of Eastern Health provides patients, residents and clients with quality diagnostic and therapeutic services that assist doctors and other health-care professionals in diagnosing illnesses or injuries. Clinical trial for 18F-Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)

Patients with a Positron Emission Tomography (PET Scan) appointment may be invited to take part in a clinical trial for the production of the FDG, which is the component that is required for the PET scan.
